Environmental and Social Contribution Guidelines at Hometel ChandigarhAll funds gathered through our guest contribution initiative are transferred directly to “Sewa Mandir” to foster meaningful socio-environmental impact across India, specifically supporting their dedicated campaign for Offsetting Carbon Footprint through Afforestation.Engagement in this philanthropic endeavour is entirely voluntary. Once rendered, contributions are strictly non-refundable and cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. Guests choosing to participate do so at their own discretion and explicitly waive all legal claims, remedies, or rights of action against Sarovar Hotels arising out of or in connection with their contribution.Please note the following regulatory and legal provisions governing all contributions:No tax exemption certificates under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 will be issued to participating guests.By electing to donate, guests confirm and guarantee that they are resident Indian nationals and that the contributed funds do not originate from any foreign source as defined under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010.Guests making direct reservations with the property will be invited to contribute a nominal sum of Rs. 5 towards the initiative.This micro-contribution is strictly optional, and the additional charge of Rs. 5 shall only be added to the final folio upon the guest's explicit agreement.
