Terms and Conditions | Sustainability & Social Contribution at Golden Tulip, Srinagar At Golden Tulip, Srinagar, managed under the aegis of Sarovar Hotels, we are deeply committed to driving positive social transformation and environmental stewardship. The terms and conditions outlined below govern our guest-supported charitable and ecological programmes.

1. Purpose and Allocation of Contributions Every contribution received through this initiative is remitted directly to“Sewa Mandir”, an established non-profit organisation dedicated to generating sustained social impact across India. All collected capital is earmarked specifically for environmental restoration through their initiative for“Offsetting Carbon Footprint through Afforestation”.
2. Voluntary Participation for Direct Bookings Guests who choose to book their stay directly with Golden Tulip, Srinagar are invited to support this environmental endeavour through a nominal micro-contribution ofRs. 5/-. Participation in this charitable scheme is completely voluntary and optional. The additional charge of Rs. 5/- will only be added to your bill upon your explicit consent to join the initiative.
3. Non-Refundable Nature of Donations Once a contribution has been authorized and processed, it becomes final. Contributions cannot be cancelled, refunded, or reversed under any circumstances.
4. Statutory Declarations and Tax Provisions By electing to make a financial contribution, guests agree to and acknowledge the following legal declarations: Section 80G Certificates:No tax deduction certificates or receipts under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 will be issued to contributing guests. FCRA Compliance & Residency Status:Guests confirm that the funds remitted do not derive from any foreign source as defined within the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010. By proceeding with the donation, you explicitly confirm that you are a resident Indian citizen.
5. Assumption of Risk and Legal Waiver Guests voluntarily elect to participate in this social cause at their own discretion and risk. By proceeding to donate, guests expressly waive, release, and relinquish all legal claims, rights of action, and remedies—whether arising under statutory law, common law, or otherwise—against Sarovar Hotels in connection with or arising out of the contributions remitted to Sewa Mandir.
