Environmental and Social Responsibility Initiative – Hometel RoorkeeSarovar Hotels remains deeply committed to fostering meaningful environmental stewardship and sustainable social development across India. The terms detailed below govern the voluntary charitable contribution scheme operating at Hometel Roorkee.1. Purpose and Allocation of FundsAll contributions received through this initiative are directed directly to "Sewa Mandir", an established organisation driving positive social impact. Every rupee collected under this initiative is allocated specifically towards their dedicated campaign, "Offsetting Carbon Footprint through Afforestation".2. Participation and Guest ContributionsThis initiative extends to guests making direct reservations with the hotel, who will be invited to contribute a nominal sum of Rs. 5/- towards the afforestation project.Participation is entirely voluntary and restricted exclusively to guest contributions. The additional charge of Rs. 5/- is levied only when a guest explicitly agrees to participate in the cause.3. Cancellation and Refund PolicyOnce a contribution has been successfully processed, it becomes final. Remitted donations are strictly non-refundable and cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.4. Guest Acknowledgement and Waiver of ClaimsGuests voluntarily elect to support this social cause. By proceeding with a donation, guests confirm that they do so at their own risk and expressly waive all rights of action, legal remedies, and claims (whether under law or otherwise) against Sarovar Hotels arising out of or in connection with the contribution made.5. Tax Certification ExemptionGuests should note that contributions made under this initiative do not qualify for tax benefits. No certificate under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 will be issued to contributing guests.6. Statutory Declarations and Foreign Contribution ComplianceBy electing to donate, guests formally confirm and warrant that:They are a resident Indian citizen.The funds contributed do not originate from any foreign source, as defined under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010 (FCRA).
