At La Place Sarovar Portico, Lucknow, we are deeply committed to driving positive environmental and societal change. Through our partnership with Sewa Mandir, guests are invited to participate in our voluntary carbon-offsetting and afforestation efforts across India.

1. Purpose and Allocation of Funds Every contribution collected under this initiative is transferred directly to the renowned non-profit organisation Sewa Mandir. These funds are dedicated specifically to the "Offsetting Carbon Footprint through Afforestation" programme, supporting vital ecological restoration and generating a lasting social impact in local communities.
2. Voluntary Guest Contributions Participation in this micro-donation scheme is entirely optional and operates on a purely voluntary basis for guests making direct bookings with La Place Sarovar Portico, Lucknow: Direct-booking guests will be invited to contribute a nominal amount of ₹5 (Rupees Five only) towards the afforestation drive. The additional ₹5 charge will strictly be applied to the final bill only if the guest explicitly consents to participate. This initiative relies exclusively on individual guest contributions. Once processed, all contributions are final, non-refundable, and non-cancellable under any circumstances.
3. Regulatory Framework & Legal Declarations By electing to make a contribution, guests acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and regulatory conditions: Waiver of Claims:Guests choose to contribute voluntarily and at their own risk. By proceeding with the payment, guests expressly waive and relinquish all claims, rights of legal action, and remedies (whether under statutory law or otherwise) against Sarovar Hotels, its affiliates, or management, arising out of or in connection with the contribution. Tax Deductibility (Section 80G):Contributions made via this guest initiative do not qualify for tax exemption certificates under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. No tax certificates or 80G receipts will be issued to contributing guests. FCRA & Indian Residency Compliance:By agreeing to donate, guests formally declare and confirm that they are resident Indian nationals. Furthermore, guests confirm that the funds contributed do not originate from any foreign source as defined under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010.
